Catch Basin & Drain Restoration
We specialize in restoring failed or sunken catch basins and drains using targeted infrared heat and precision repair methods. Our process eliminates trip hazards, pooling water, and premature asphalt failure—creating clean, seamless, long-lasting results.

About the service
Catch basin and drain restoration is a precise, cost-effective way to repair sunken or failed drainage structures without full excavation. We use a high-temperature infrared heater to reheat the surrounding asphalt, allowing us to remove failed material and blend in new hot mix—creating a seamless, bonded repair. This method eliminates pooling water, trip hazards, and long-term structural issues caused by failing drains.
Why it’s better
Seamless integration with surrounding asphalt—no saw cuts or cold joints
Fast and efficient with minimal disruption to traffic or operations
Lower cost compared to full excavation or concrete replacement
Effectively resolves water pooling, trip hazards, and premature asphalt failure
What’s part of the service
How it works
We position a Ray-Tech infrared heater around the sunken or damaged drain and heat the area for 7–10 minutes. Once the asphalt is softened, we rake out failed material, compact the base if needed, add new hot mix, and lute it to grade. The surface is then compacted flush with the surrounding asphalt, creating a strong, watertight seal that restores drainage function and eliminates surface defects.
